Church Curriculum

Each half term, the children enjoy a lesson in All Saints’ Church. Rev Alex and Mrs Kerridge welcome each class to learn about aspects of the Anglican Calendar or Christian Values such as Promises, Love, Care, Hope and Stewardship. Using the Church as a Classroom provides a rich resource whereby the children can see, hold, and notice symbols and objects used in Christian worship. This helps bring the learning to life. This half term the children learned about Harvest.

Each child thought about being grateful for the foods they enjoy, the foods they don’t enjoy but eat because they are good for them and people that help harvest or prepare their food.
